Revista de Cercetare \u0219i Interven\u021bie Social\u0103 (Review of Research and Social Intervention) is a quarterly peer reviewed academic journal which publishes original papers about the theory, methods, and research, practice and conferences presentations about the research in social field. The general goal of RCIS is to present the best work in and about contemporary society and the phenomenon, in order to improve the knowledge base and practice of its readers. Revista \u00ee\u015fi propune s\u0103 ofere spa\u0163iu de dezbatere academic\u0103 \u00een primul r\u00e2nd problemelor specifice Europei Centrale \u015fi de Est, fiind deschis\u0103 abord\u0103rilor multidisciplinare \u015fi studiilor comparative.\u00a0The journal offers space for academic endeavours on social issues in Central and Eastern Europe, welcoming multidisciplinary and comparative approaches in the fields of sociology, social work, social policies, anthropology, urban and rural studies. The core of each thematic issue is composed of research articles with empirical grounding, but methodological discussion papers and book reviews are also welcomed.\u00a0Studia UBB Sociologia<\/em>\u00a0was one of the first Sociology journals in Romania, fully published in English since 2008.
